Hey guys,
Ive got a few questions I hope someone can answer! I'm currently in the process of replacing my extremely ugly, but very capable 122 liter tempest with a css trio12 and one of those nice veneered parts express ported boxes. As soon as i receive the gear and get it assembled I will be starting my next project, a new pair of R/L speakers. Ideally based on several factors (WAF, Price) I want to use the parts express 7 liter curved cabinets. Bass extension is a non issue as I will be crossing to the above mentioned subwoofer. Basically what im wondering is, can a loud great sounding pair of speakers be made using a mere 7 liters? I have 100 watts to power each speaker and as mentioned above, will be crossing to a sub so extension isn't to important. If i need to step up to the larger cabinets to get spl and sound quality I will. But I would REALLY like to make this work in the 7 liter cabinets. Any thoughts? |
