I love the look of the cabinets

what materials or finish did you use?

My current project is only lacking a decent finish.

MDF cabinets , i do not want to veneer.

Looks like Texcoat / Stonecoat available from Homebase . Can be expensive , even spraying a small pair of cabinets with the stuff but gives a nive finish

I used a granite texture spray paint.

And no it is not that expensive, at least here in
Estonia. One bottle is approx 10$ and I used 1 bottle per box.....

This is how the crossover looks at the moment.

I wanted to make it as easily accessible as possible as I might wanna tweak it.

Choosing baffle width

Hi, Ergo

I read how you did your measurements. I have a question: with your rounded box, how did you decide what baffle width to specify in your baffle step simulation?

Regards

Lower part of the frontside around the woofer is 18cm wide. So this is the value I used for calculating baffle step.
