Default Rib construction, not a new idea but...Isophon Berlina RC7

I recently read a test in the German magazine Stereoplay of an Isophon loudspeaker (canīt remember the name of the model). But in essance , the way to make the enclosure is at least unconventional. Made by sections of solid material layered with material with damping properties in between itīs said to have little impact on the final sonic result.

I would have done it differently, I would have used different materials with different properties for the solid sections , made it less symmetrical with rods starting at different sections. If itīs possible; more of "controlled chaos"
