Default What drivers are in Monitor Audio Silver 9's?

Does anyone know which drivers were used in the Monitor Audio Silver 9's, circa 2002-2004? The woofers appear to be Seas.

Thank you.

I know they *look* like Seas Excel drivers, but I believe they are proprietary driver units manufactured in-house or from an OEM'd manufacturer.

Later,

Agreed, I always thought they used their own.

It hasn't always been the case, even though they specified in house drive units.

for example look exactly like OEM SEAS drivers. This is going back a bit though so maybe things have changed.

Default Silver 9's

I was hoping those were Seas drivers. I have a nearly new pair that sustained freight damage, so I thought of building some heavier and better braced cabinets for the drivers. It seemed like it might be fun to add a larger driver to that for a bit deeper bottom end. I was thinking 7" or 8".
