just want to share my new project
4 way 2 different pars
Sub and 3way
wmtmw with tls
subs with tls
active filtering for some time mini dsp
the xo infrequences (50hz)-(500-800hz) - (3-3.5khz)
all drivers are Faital pro very good ts really
the tweeter new SB acoustics ring-radiator

plan to use Zen4 for midrange and tweeter and
lme49830 amps for woofer and sub-woofer

sub will work with hp filter 30hz-gd 30hz 10ms
woofer with 50hz hp gd 50hz-7ms

After some time a project changed a lot

Woofer - B&C 15ps100

Mid-woofer B&C 8ndl51

midrange radian 950pb + Yurichi Arai A-300E horn

tweeter Foutek neo cd3.5

dac pcm1794 apergio h-cmos (10v outup)

amp for woofer LME49830 2 pairs of sk1530+sj201

amp for mid-woofer LME49830 1 pair of sk1530+sj201

tweeter amp - power follower 99 with 2ск1529 and 10uf output polyprop cap

midrange amp - power follower 99 with 2ск1529 and 100uf output polyprop cap

steped 8 chanel attenuator

Rlc correction for mid-bass and bass session

Looks to have a great potential, but if it was my project I would look for a good 2-3" dome instead of the horn. Not neccesarely ATC but it shure would fit in.
Interesting sub-bass solution. Quarter-wawe horns are the only solution I`ve heard making a clean nin-compressed bass like my own build. Avoid absorbers;)

listened a lot of domes vifa,tang-band,dayton, ATC they does not provide the sound i need
except atc all of them is just crap.
Driver +horn give a lot more resolution speed and detail

All domes are not crap, but you shure need to search a bit to find the few good ones that might fit your combo. On the other hand, when you do, they will outperform any horn.

Also mid-bass can be done w.o. absorbers, it will improve the sound-quality quite a bit and help it keep up with the sub. I did this by using an asymetric cabinet and making up diffractors looking like blinds. Might take some time to clear out but it will be worth it.

They are crap Any normal horn do it work much better

nope it cant or you get midrange from port and that is not aceptible.
 
Dome-drivers are crap? You`ll need a dome driver to get sound from the horn anyway, do you think adding a horn improves soundquality? No horn will ever fool me.
Horns are working with horn drivers they are not the same with domes but much more alike
they produce sonud another side of dome
they work through phaseplug
their impedance are depends of horn
and of course they are simply made better then domes
the distortion are a lot less because to get 100db you need only several percents of 1w.

no dome can do 600-8000khz
and of course their sensitivity are much more less
the domes didnt have controllable dispersion
the domes must be crossovered higher
the domes can do less in high frequency
the domes hat worth bl\mms
all the domes i`ve used an listened are worth then best cones, less detail less resolution.
Horns gives us that domes cant



Midrange from port? What port?
open hornresp or take ecm8000 and mesure what will go from TL output (port in real world we can sure name the output of tl - port)
