Post Pics - 1st DIY Speaker Project

I built these when I was 16 --- about 8 years ago now. They were constructed with North Creek cabinetry in mind. The front baffle is 2.25" thick, the cabinets weigh around 60lbs each. They are highly braced (every 3" vertically), north creek "gunked" inside, the front is blood wood. The rest is baltic birch & medite. The cross-overs were designed with LEAP & LMS by an engineer from Carver corp. The speaker wire was from butchered audioquest interconnects - some dragon. I don't think Focal even makes the mid-basses anymore (6v415), but the measured response was in the 40s for f3. Matched revelator tweeters. Caddock and air foil bling-bling in shielded aluminum external cross-overs enclosures.

I bought genesis apm-1s to replace these speakers a couple years ago. But after a few months with the genesis I ended up selling them and putting these back in. I've since then lost my listening room to my wife & a/v needs, but I still listen to these speakers everyday. They survived a sonic frontiers line-3 crap out and go max volume for about 30 seconds last year - running though a SF power-2. I was pretty sure they were gone when that happened - but no damage.

I've got the cross-overs designs around here somwhere if anyone is interested altho I don't think you can get the mid-basses anymore.
