Default cross bracing

can anyone help with how to cross brace a cabinet to help with bass boom. cabinet is 500mm x 250mm. thanks

500 x 250mm? An open baffle?

Can you post pictures so we have a better idea of what we're working with.

To add a cross brace to an already built cabinet, go to your local hardware store and get a thick dowel. Cut dowel to length, just a hair longer than needed. Then shave it down with a heavy grain file to get the size just right. Then wedge it in there with some wood glue.
