Hi,
Just got my hands on some field coil 8" from Germany - cheapo Sachsenwerk and easily available. I have put them in an open baffle and they do sound nice but are obviously bandwidth limited and when I did rough measurements, start rolling off at 300Hz. Therefore I'm up for suggestions on something that can fill in the lower 2 octaves. Something efficient enough and I would have thought 12" considering it needs to go that high. I did think about the Supravox 285 but these are not so easily available in UK. Thanks. JJ |

Have you looked at the OB articles by Martin king ? I believe in one design he uses
2 of the emmince alpha 15A drivers crosed over to a lother driver crossing the 15A's over at 200hz and the lother at 300hz. By the way just how cheap and easy to get are those drivers? |
