It would seem to me that a low Qms (<.5) dynamic cone transducer driven by a current source would solve a lot of the associated linearity and compression issues of loudspeakers.
Other than custom ribbons, are there any commercial drivers with such a Qms? Thanks, Thadman

The JA8008 is an excellent driver with Qms < 2, but I don't remember ever having seen something below 1.
