Hi Just wondering if anybody knows the bass reflex enclosure volume for the 15in fostex FW405N beast also where in Melbourne can these be purchased at a reasonable price?

Seems to me that these would be more suited for a sealed box or open baffle given the .45 Qts, but if you have the room, a 20 cubic foot box tuned to 24 Hz will give you an F3 @ 22 Hz and an F10 @ 18 Hz.

Just in case you don't have it yet, winlsd is a free box modeling program that lets you manipulate box volume, tuning frequency, alignment, etc. 'til your heart's content.

You might find that this woofer can live in a much smaller box depending on your requirements/ancillaries/room/amps/subs?/etc.
