Default JBL HLS410 Tweeter Replacement

Hi everyone.
I have removed the faulty 10mm dome tweeters and their flared fronts from my pair of HLS 410's.See crossover schematic here:
http://manuals.harman.com/JBL/HOM/Te...LS410%20ts.pdf
I chose a pair of Dai-Ichi DT500 domes which fit into the cutouts perfectly.
Details here, scroll about 1/2 way down page 6.53:
http://www.wagner.net.au/catalogue/06_Speakers.pdf
I have not done any change to the original JBL crossover which happens at 3KHz.
But what I think needs to happen is a bit of attenuation of the tweeter volume.
I noticed the Vifa sourced Mid/woof sens is 86dB and the new tweeters are 92dB.
I THINK the 3KHz crossover freq' should be "compatible" still.
Can any member share their expertise on this as I don't know where to go from here?
Would greatly appreciate your help. Cheers.

I would recommend few changes.

1) Short R2 ( 2.2E )
2) Change the value of C2 to 4.7mfd.
3) Change the Value of L2 to 0.6mH (use 21SWG).
4) Add L-Pad Attenuator between Crossover and Tweeter. The value of Series resistor of L-pad should be 3.3E and Parallel resistor to Tweeter should be 6.8E.

After you complete this Let me know.

Note: I would recommend you to make changes in Pair. ( replace JBL tweeter which is currently working to maintain Symmetry.)
