Default Dipole baffel-width: dispersion characteristics

Will a wide baffeled () dipole have a wider horisontal dispersion compared to a nude dipole, thus a wider sweet-spot?

The dispersion pattern is less dependent on the pure baffle width than on frequency/wavelength relating to the baffle width. See JohnK and my try (download below the red text) on it.

You can't generalize this. There are ways to get a wider sweet spot with a narrower dispersion (Earl Geddes).
