Default Usher 9950 tweeter

I've visited a number of sites which talked about the Usher 9950 tweeter. Word is that they are at least as good, if not better, than the ScanSpeak.

Would anyone care to share their first hand experience with these?

At about $100 the pair they seem like a pretty good deal.

Hard to believe that no one has had an experience with this tweeter.

I found people were incredibly tight lipped about this tweeter for some reason. I just finished my first set of speakers, using the 9950 and Vifa MG drivers. I have to say I'm really impressed. The detail these tweets give is amazing even with the shoddy crossover I've got them running on. Unfortunately I have little to no basis for comparison to other high end gear. Let me know if you have any other questions.

There were some measurements in the German magazine Klang & Ton that came out last Friday. Distortion is good but not excellent. I can scan and send them if you send me your email.

Regards,

Eric
