I'm thinking of trying to sneak some speakers into the living room. Currently all my audio stuff is banished to the basement as it clashes with the decor.
What I'm thinking of is possibly adding a little class D amp module and a wireless reciever to an existing small speaker and painting the speaker changing the grillecloth to blend with the wall. Anybody have any suggestions for doing this? I have some Infinity SM-85s - my thought is to build a small speaker stand for them to sit on that would be the electronics enclosure. As many class D project amps come in stereo, I might replace the crossover with a small active crossover before the amp and run each driver individually. Any links to appropriate small simple active crossovers or wireless modules that would be helpful? |
