Default theoretical question about impedance plots

Hi all, When I see a speaker plot and it has the freq responce, and the imped plot, how should the imped spike be thought of in relationship to where the crossover point should be on the driver.

In this pic, there is a large imped spike so should the driver be crossed before or after it.....or is there no relationship? Cheers.

Resonant frequency (Fs) should always be lower than xover frequency, you can imagine why.
