How to connect the phase in 2 way?

I am doing a 2way floorstanding speaker.The bas is cut LP with 6db,and the tweeter HP,now is there a rule how to connect the phase of the tweter?
In phase or out of phase,or is it ti try and listen?

Just connect the wire coming from the capacitor of the HP to the red or + of the tweeter.In phase

Hi,

For a 2 way the most common targets are L/R second order and L/R fourth
order. for the former the tweeter phase reversed, the latter in-phase.

I did filter my speaker and maesure the phase and spl and corrected it till it was the same as with my sound card input connected to output.

So I tuned the low response then the high response then to gather result perfect phase and very linear.

HBX V6 You have to know German to use it. And you have to pay for it.

HBX6

It can measure TS-parameters of your driver.

In sweden you have justMLS, lspCAD.

I downloaded Arta and holmresponse.
The speakers arent quite ready yet,so I´ll read about the software and learn it..
