I am upgrading the crossover for my speakers, custom built MTM with side firing woofers. Tweeter is a SB acoustics ring radiator, mids will possibly be Scan Speak discovery 5.25" and the woofer is a noname branded 8"
Do you guys have any crossover ideas for a design like this? I think the current design is a simple 1st order design. Would you wire the woofers in series or parrallel for a new crossover in this configuration? |

Tweeter is 4 ohm. Woofer is 4 ohm.
If in series mids will be 4 ohm (8 ohm total), if in parallel mids will be 8 ohm (halved to 4 ohm). Im not sure if it is better to go with total 4 ohm impedances all round and thus wire in parallel? |
