Madisound off-line?

I've been trying to access Madisound's site for a week.

URL is not valid

Is it me, or have they closed their doors?

I just got some stuff from them on Friday with no problems, but got shut out of the website today.

I was able to get onto their website just yesterday.

I was there earlier in the week... failed just now. Looks to be the host.

It's back now. AFAIK, they run their own server. I've seen it down several times before.

Just trivia, they've been running a BBS or other "online" presence since the 80s.

ahhh, the joys of hosting your own server. At a previous employer, I worked out of our Austin office and HQ was in Houston. But we ran a web-server out of Austin. Our poor network guy had to make 1 am trips from Houston to Austin to fix the darn thing every time it crashed. Hosting yourself can be a major pain.

Works for me. Madisound Speaker Components | Assisting speaker builders for more than 25 years.

Okay, I'm pretty sure it's not me. Every other site opens just fine.

Right not.. 1:15pm CST I'm getting the "invalid URL" message.

I guess I'll keep trying.
