Madisound off-line?

Going on four weeks, still unable to connect to Madisound.

On Madisound's BBS, they used to archive the messages posted on another BBS called The Audiophile Network, which at the time was being run on an Apple IIe.

The "message area" was basically just a long text file where new messages were simply appended to the end.

I find it a bit ironic that modern day forums such as diyAudio are fundamentally the same.

I remember the audiophile network, probably the first BBS I ever tried.. 2400baud modem and a 486/33 or maybe that was a 286/12... I remember getting my first 28.8K modem in the early '90s and a few years later a 56.6K modem.

Madisound works fine from here.. I think your ISP might be blocking them for some reason.. (Got on their black list somehow)

Nothin wrong here either. Typed madisound.com in the browser bar, and it came up instantly. Something's going on with your ISP.

Email this: info@madisound.com and explain the problem. Maybe THEY can contact your ISP.

If for some reason the email bounces, use a yahoo or gmail account to email them.
