i have a orion 225r wont power up when i hook B+ and Negative i have 14.5 volts but when hook up remote wire it drops in half any ideas would be helpful

finals in the amp are probably blown. Orion never used to use internal fusing on their amplifiers unless it was the 2250SX or 2100HCCA. The smaller ones relied on external line fuses which you had to supply. If the speaker leads touched, there was nothing to prevent the finals from getting fried as I found out with a 280GX once on an install. No internal thermal protection at all.

the MOSFETs attached to the rails along the heat sink.
