Bought a pair of speakers at the Goodwill for $8.00 made by Transcend Research out of Minnesota, first time I've seen the name but they appear well made, probably 70's or 80's.
They are 25" hx14"wx131/2"d consisting of 3' tweeter, 5" mid and two 10" woofers( one woofer is missing the other is non working). My question is twofold, has anyone heard of this manufacturer and have or know how to get any information. Also how might these woofers been connected to the crossover, I only see signs of the front woofer being connected to the crossover. The missing woofers opening is by itself on the rear apparently opposing the front one. I'd like to either hook it up as it was meant to be, or at least salvage the enclosure and start from there. I hope the length of my question didn't boar all to tears, I'll sure appreciate any help or advice. Thanks |

Pictures?
The back 10" may well have been a passive radiator. dave
