MTM with JX92s fullrange and Aurum Cantus G2Si ribbon tweeter - Will that work?

I´m very happy with my MiniMonitors (Jim Griffin´s superb blend of an E.J. Jordan JX92s fullranger and an Aurum Cantus G2Si ribbon tweeter, (http://www.esnips.com/doc/0cd36443-0...SG2siDesignPak), but they are somewhat inefficient. To make them a bit beefier, I`m thinking of adding an additional JX92s to drive them as MTMs.

My thoughts, so far:

The impedance minimum of a single JX92s is 5 Ohms, so 2 of these drivers in parallel have 2,5 Ohms. That might be a problem, but my differential Pass F4 monoblocks will handle that hands down.

The drivers´ absolute minimum distance, determined by the tweeter´s dimensions, is 9,5 centimeters. (measured from cone edge to cone edge)
9,5 centimeters is the wavelength of approximately 3600 Hz.
The crossover frequency will be approximately 3000 Hz with 4th order filter.

And now for my questions:

Will there be any comb filter effects?
Will a 3rd order filter give better results?
Will that work?
And, btw., what is the effective diameter of a cone driver? The cone alone or cone + surround?

Hope all that is not only bogus ...

Arrgh, have to reword my thoughts:

The drivers´ absolute minimum distance, determined by the tweeter´s dimensions, is 9,5 centimeters. (measured from cone edge to cone edge)
9,5 centimeters is the wavelength of approximately 3600 Hz.

That´s as significant as the hubcap size of my 1991 Volkswagen Passat station wagon.

What I should have written is:

The drivers´ centres absolute minimum distance, determined by the tweeter´s dimensions, is 19,5 centimeters.

19,5 centimeters is the wavelength of approximately 1700 Hz.

Hope it´s clearer now ...
