Has anyone used these drivers. I am looking for information on crossovers, crossover points, and enclosure alignments for the woofer.
What caps sound good on the TC90TDX? Thanks, Paul Hilgeman |

Check zalytron.com kits section. They use a lot of Focal drivers.

I agree that Zalytron is a good place to check. They sell a lot of focal stuff, and Elliot Zalyet is willing to give advice and help with design. I used to have a speaker building club at the school where I teach, and he was very helpful with choosing drivers and alignments and designing crossovers. Their catalogue used to have a bunch of suggested designs and crossover schematics. I haven't looked at their website in a long time -- haven't been building speakers, but I imagine it is similarly helpful. I should say that I don't know if Elliot does all this for free -- if you want specific design suggestions he might expect you to buy the parts from him, but that seems fair. Why not ask -- he seemed to me to be a very nice guy, though understandably very busy also.

I took a look over there and sent him an e-mail. There is no exact XO for those two drivers, but hopefully he can help me out.
Thanks for the tips guys. -Paul |

You may also want to post this question on the Madisound board. Lots of people there who can help you out.
