Default cascading bypass caps

hi, Can anyone suggest single cap vs. multi-cascading for the Scan-Speak Revelator tweeter -D2905/9900

Default Maybe....

I can suggest this-
That tweeter is worth it to use a Jantzen Z-Superior or Z-Silver cap as a single.

If you want to spend less, I would either use a Clarity SA cap, or try a set of MultiCaps (PPMFX from Michael Percy Audio). Either one bypassed with a Superior or Silver Jantzen.

My 2c,
Wolf

Thanks for responses. I'm ordering : Jantzen Superior-Z (0.33 mf +2.7) + Clarity ESA (12.0) =15 mf. They're going into a Troels' Jensen 1071 build.
Northcreek especially mentions cascading for this tweeter.

Default Hope you like 'em!

Please report your opinions upon completion! I'd be interested in hearing what you like/dislike. The Superiors should give you more 'space/size' over just the ESA.

Later, and glad I could help,
Wolf

np !!!!!!!!!!

Upgrading caps to me is worth it. Yes, the upgraded speakers may not sound as good as a more pricy speaker, but as long as your ears are happy and the price is worth the improvement, all is good.
