Impossible to get frequency and impedance curves: thus impossible to calculate serious crossover filter and to adapt to bass/medium driver.
Issues with quality on all units (3 in total, distinct orders): oil and dust on drivers, plastic coat broken during manufacturing (though packaging was perfect), metal filing torn away fallen onto the ribbon !
Maybe the problem was just overseas expedition, I'm not saying was not. More serious when the price payed was high. Just for international customers to pay attention of the added difficulties that sometimes may arrive, and for their packaging. Also check for the merchandise when it arrives for a refund/insurance when possible.

In another occasion, recently, a diyAudio customer was happy with their service.
Parts Express done me right!!!

I'm impressed by the comments on P.E. drivers .There are a lot of competent men around the world ! One replaces the old tweeter and is amazed ,another changes the 5" driver in the sub and gets duplicated bass ,another one suggests that a 3,5 Khz 24dB/oct is the best for that driver. What a romance !

You need to take those P.E. reviews with a large grain of salt.

You'll notice that the most inept reviewers always label themselves as "professional" while the more humble and down to earth label themselves as "amateur."

I had ordered a couple of Dayton RS-28 replacement diaphragms for my Usher BE-9980 tweeters to hold out till Usher sent me their own replacements, and a bunch of other stuff. PE sent it very promptly, but India customs mangled the diaphragm (intentionally, I believe, and I'm not the only one who has faced this issue).

Not only did PE give me a full refund on the diaphragm and a missing H-nut, they also refunded a part of the shipping charge. In fact, I recommend PE highly, that is, if you can avoid using FedEx. Almost all problems that international customers face can be probably traced to lackadaisical and unprofessional shipping and handling in transit.

That may be true, but FedEx is the best option here in the continental USA, by far. US postal priority mail comes second.

P.E. switched from UPS to FedEx and is getting much better service.

P.E. is great! Fedex in Europe is not.... almost every time I've had something shipped with Fedup... eh.. Fedex, the package arrived as a wreck and sometimes with destroyed content as well.

I have had some quality problems on components ordered from parts express. In the last two months I have ordered ~20 drivers and nearly all of them had damaged gaskets and other such things. Packing is ok but could be a lot better, especially on orders reaching into the hundreds of dollars.

Inventory system is a mess. I'll order drivers backordered for weeks and they are at my door in 3 days but still remain marked as gone. Don't get me wrong, that's great for me but this works the other way too.

The site is easy to navigate, decent selection, and prices are ok. So I will keep coming back, but I am still somewhat disappointed.

Just my experience.
