Hi Guys,
I tried emailing Polk to get specs to build boxes for the RC55i and RC85i as they are going to be hung on broad cement columns, and they only replied that I should use a 1.5 cubic foot box. Didn't specify if it was ported, length of port, etc. or supply me with basic specs to use to calculate. I am asking if anyone here would be willing to hazard a guess as to what size for each for a lightly stuffed closed box. RC55i Specs Page : 5.25" two-way in-wall rectangular loudspeaker : Polk Audio RC85i Specs Page : 8" two-way rectangular in-wall loudspeaker : Polk Audio I know it is only a guess, and I would say erring on the side of a little too small with a slight bass hump but better power handling might be better. Thanks. |

One bump, then let the question go gentle into that good night.
