Hi all,
This is my first post and it seems to be a great place to get familiar with audio. I have heard great things about these local Australian speakers Lenehan-loudspeakers and after doing some research would like to have a go at building something similar. Apparently they use a Peerless bass driver and tweeter. Does anyone know of a kit or designs that would be similar to the Leneham ML1's? Thanks, |

I've never heard them but have used the Peerless Nomex woofers and 810921 tweeter. The tweeter is no longer available as a Peerless as now sold as a Scan Speak Discovery.
There are lots of good designs available that would be equivalent or better. Look for designs using the Scan Speak Revelator mid woofers as are much better than the Peerless Nomex drivers. Look at Troel's for various design options. Troelsgravesen Diy Loudspeaker Projects Zaph's ZD5 has a very strong following and uses a 15W Revelator. I've heard some great reports from owners. Zaphaudio ZD5 Stones Sound studio do a Fountek Ribbon with a Peerless Nomex kit which has been well received and I think there was a review or something in Silicon Chip (Aus).
