Default how can I make the the best cab for what I have?

Hi Guys,

I am not a electrics guy so that is why I am coming to you guys. I bought these DIY speakers w/crossovers, I don't know how to interpret the xovers plans to you all. but the speakers themself are dymauido 8" 24w100
d-54af and ow-1 the cabs are 43" high 16" deep and 11.5" wide, the front & back baffle 1.5 thick and the sides I think are 1" thick. there are are a few flaw in the wood work so I would like to build new cabs so I would like some help in the right design. I live in Marysville Wa. thanks for any help you guys can give

There's not a lot of information to go on there. I'd try restoring the cabinets as-is first, assuming they sound good and are well-designed.

Hi,

The drivers are well known and high quality. The cabinets sound about right
for a vented low Fs 8" driver. Restoration is far easier than a total rebuild.

The crossover has to be right for such drivers, do you know if its from a
published design, from a vendor or knocked up by the original builder ?
is it hardwired or on a board with some identifications ?
