Default Monitor Audio Silver 9 Modifications?

I recently dug out some Monitor Audio Silver 9 speakers I've had for years. I threw them in a temporary location, and they sound better than I remember. Especially with a sub.

Does anyone have any experience with any improvements to these speakers?

Thanks!
