Ed,

Don't you like it when a plan comes together?

Don's website includes links to his major papers and details about him:

Welcome to the official website of D.B.Keele

His latest major constant beamwidth technology (CBT) paper published by AES is:

http://www.xlrtechs.com/dbkeele.com/PDF/Keele (2005-10 AES Preprint) - CBT Paper 5.pdf

and a picture of Don and his array:

His 2010 AES Boston presentation in January is outlined at:

AES Section Meeting Reports: Boston - January 14, 2010

The Boston viewgraphs are linked at:

and video presentation at:

MobileMe

Dr. Linkwitz has some comments about CBT technology at:

Linkwitz-Links

You might chose to view the viewgraphs and video together for full impact of video and audio together.

Marshall Kay (Audio Artistry) and Don have recently worked together on a CBT array which Marshall will bring to Dayton. I'm sure that the Dayton attendees would find the CBT technology to be of great interest.

Should be a lot of fun.

Jim

I see Peavey, Crown, & NTE are going to be there. I already know what their stuff sounds like. Any chance anybody is going to demo a full range speaker there? I don't need to hear anymore car trunk buzz tubes. (the competition) I'd like to see what all the noise is about. Dayton has some cool stuff to do besides a show. The music shops around here have 1. 2 woofers 2. 4 woofers 3. a 2 way speaker with a woofer and a horn.4. a Bose with a lot of little speakers pretending to be a big one. And Best Buy demos in a warehouse, which is useless. Ed, are you the guy that sells used amps in Winchester Ky? It is just a tiny bit too far from Kentuckiana to save any money on them.
