Default Identify this Eminence Driver?

I picked up a pair of 12" Eminence woofers on the cheap from A Brown Soun in San Rafael, CA. They have no kind of writing on them that I can find. They resemble a magnum from the front, but I can't find anything that looks the same from the back. The guys at A Brown said the cone was hemp, which seems true, but thats all the info I got. I got the impression they were rare or discontinued. I want to build them into a cabinet, but I need more info. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here you can see the magnum-like aluminum bullet in the middle and the greenish hemp cone.

The part that throws me is the back. Doesn't look like anything else I can find online.

Again, thanks for any help!

It looks a guitar driver to me.

This type of suspension (surround) should be very stiff and not suitable for large excursion. And the contour of the phase plug also looks tapering too quickly -- the VC former would escape the straight portion of the plug too easily -- some 'pumping' effect would happen here and not a good thing.

Other than those, it's a handsome driver Maybe good for a big midrange on OB

Boxed or not, you'd need to measure its T/S parameters, at least. WT3 is good for this and very easy to use.

Looks like a Deltalite 2512 (not Deltalite II 2512) without dustcap...

Probably a custom Midbass. Most Eminance sales are custom with a stamped number tied to an order # dashes for re-orders ( might be located under the rear gasket)

I also have a pair of Eminence drivers I am trying to find data on. This is a
heavy 18" driver with a cast frame about 20lbs each. I did find these numbers on them.

Default Eminence ID thoughts

Woody

On your 18, just send Eminence an email and they will usually respond with a complete spec sheet and frequency curves. The 18195B1 looks like a valid Eminence build code.

Noah H, Kinda wondering if that is an early Hemp Acoustics driver. Panomaniac may possibly recognize? looks like a neo motor similar to some of the 1st generation neo magnet drivers Eminence made about 4 - 5 years ago.
