Because of the postage thing, what waveguides are available to us locally ATM?

I have purchased the QSC waveguides through Technical Audio Group (TAG).
They aren't quite as cheap as from the US, but not terribly expensive either. I think they were about $65AUD/pair shipped. Azura Horns are also Australian made (Azurahorn -Le Cleac'h Acoustic Horn Loudspeakers) I have also just ordered a pair of waveguides from jzagaja off here, waiting for them to arrive, but when the AUD (93c) was good, the price was quite reasonable, even with shipping. (Waveguides and horns) They came to just over $200AUD/pair of 12" OSWG's shipped. Last edited by fury; 3rd June 2010 at 01:35 AM. |

The 18Sound XT1086 are available in Oz from Acoustic Technologies in QLD. About $80 ea or so IIRC, but that was a while back. |

I recently went to buy three of the Daytons (with a couple of adaptors) from PE. The guides were going to cost as much as a carton, but the postage was going to be a couple of hundred. For that money I'd be tempted to build my own rectangular quadratic 'guides with custom coverage angles.
AT aren't currently able to get the 18sound waveguides without a similar postage issue if I understand them correctly. |

The QSCs may satisfy me (or at least get me started). I'm assuming the HPR152i 'guides have a 1" throat...is this correct?

4 of the round QSC 122i WG's earlier this year cost me $US40 for shipping through USPS.
