Has anybody please got a spare broken tweeter for the Celestion A3? I have a beautiful pair of these classic speakers, but unfortunately the idiot previous owner of them has replaced the tweeters with inferior units, which sound awful.
I can repair a tweeter using an alternative diaphragm, but i don't have the magnet assembly and faraday ring for one side - I have successfully sorted the other speaker, but that owner chucked away all the important parts when he swapped the units. I would of course pay for such a unit - there could well be someone out there with an intact but broken example. I have long given up trying to find a working tweeter - they simply don't seem to exist any more - worldwide!! please let me know if anyone can help. Thanks, John |
