Hey all... this is a set that I am building for my father who I owe my audio sickness to..
This will be an active setup using H-Audio drivers.. Paint color will be a a Bentley White Sand.. the base will be wrapped in a mocha vinyl and the inserts will be veneered in a very unusual walnut burl..
Allot of care has been taken to minimize enclosure resonance, energy transfer and baffle interaction.. I also mechanically aligned the drivers..

this is were I am at now... I'll have the inlays veneer next once once I drop the Blackmore Lowther dipole set I am building off at the paint shop

Are the shapes for acoustic reasons, or just visual impact? (specifically the crests)
And what are the bases doing? BR ports or TLs? And why the funny interior shapes?
( You guys make me feel like Rip van Winkle (minus the beard, of course.) 30 years ago I was pretty much on the cutting edge, and now it seems people don't use knives anymore. 😉 )
