This will be the first amplifier i have built and i am not sure where to start with the speakers. I'm sure most of you are familiar with this amp design but here is the link anyway.
20 Watt Class-A Amplifier I'm planning to have a tweeter and a single speaker to deal with the mid and low-range, but to be honest I'm not even sure this is the best set-up for this amp, would a full range be better? With the two speaker set up I'd also assume it would be best to have an open enclosure, is this correct? So basically what i'm after is speaker recommendations and reasons why so i know for the next time i build an amp! Cheers |

Search for proven two-way designs in Google. Zaph, a contributor to these pages, as well as many others have designs. Better a proven design than a disaster.
