hi all, im looking for speakers for use with my amp32 in the car. id like them to be, wait for it-
4 ohm
cheap
lightweight
compact
relatively loud
obviously i wont get all of these but some of them would be nice.
ill be using them with a sub so the bass end is covered.

Amp32 loves sph-30x transducers
I own an amp32 and use it to drive two 4ohm monacor sph-30x speakers. Faital Pro also makes some relatively efficient 3 inch / 80mm speakers that work well with the amp32. There are many good choices, but I agree with V-Bro...the monacors are unique in that they are very lightweight (150g) are nearly full range (90hz-20khz) and are weather resistant....making them excellent for portable audio. In a car I'd probably opt for larger, deeper and thus slightly less efficient drivers...like 6.5 inch polk db651.

Depending on how exactly you define 'reasonably loud', and what 'cheap' means to you, then you might actually be able to reach all the objectives ...
