I've had my Minimus 77 for about 20 years and they have served well in the office system. I gave them to my son recently and he promptly blew out both woofers when he turned on his vintage Marantz receiver with the volume unknowingly set to "10". Both woofers destroyed. Haven't checked the tweeters yet. Is there a source for a direct fit replacement woofer? These speakers are as new cosmetically--is there a surefire method for removing the grills without damaging them or the cabinet?
Thanks, J |
