i have discovered a pair of altec model 6 in bad conditions. the woofers needs new foam surroundings and the midranges needs even more cares... i suppose the horns are good, since the're not easy to destroy (am i wrong?).
they're asking 150 euro, i wonder if they're worth it... that horn tweeter is very tempting. someone know if they're good sounding horns? are they worth a restoration cure? this is not the speaker i found, just a pic found on the web... |

Me too...
My wife just grabbed me a set of these cheap at a thrift store but the Woofs need refoam and the roughly 4" mids might need a complete recone. Woofers aren't too hard to figure out but does anyone have a lead on repair parts for the mid?
