Default Slightly OT: 'Buy Out' Recession Buster Bargain

Acquired a pair of 'Reflexion Venice 200' 3-way for £52 from Conrad-UK with the intention of harvesting drivers etc for DIY projects. It might be hard to believe but these speakers are actually rather good. They look quite smart too and have the approval of 'she who knows best'. Consequently they will remain 'as is'.

Looks like a good deal to me, I wonder about this part tho:

Frequency range: 28 - 22000Hz

What point would you say they start rolling off? If they hit 40Hz then I may be quite tempted...

Unfortunately I don't have any measurement gear but judging from what I hear and feel from test tones I would say they're good down to 40hz, possibly lower. Unless there's some frequency doubling going on

The woofer does appear to be very compliant and capable of large excursions.
