Default Any discrete active crossover with 48db slope?

Can't seem to find one, not even commercial product. Seems to be available only on DSP. Why is this so - is 48db slope very difficult to achieve?

A 48dB/oct is just two 24dB/oct filters cascaded. Which will most likely result in four 12dB/oct filters .

Instead of a 48 dB/o slope, I would recommand the Hardman's crossover, using elliptic Bainter's filters :

The Best Active Crossover - Here!

Later known as an NTM crossover due to its implemention in the BSS speaker processors.

For a Sallen-Key realization, yes. But the Q for the Sallen-Keys varies as a function of the overall order; Linkwitz has a nice table for LR2 through LR8 on his website. The higher the order the harder it is to hold toleraces between the highpass and lowpass Sallen-Key lines and the more attractive state variable filters become.
