Hey everyone,
I recently decided I that I would buy a decent pair of speakers, after spending so many hours building and ending up with something I not happy with. So I went to my resident speaker "go too guy", who told me about a pair of speakers jaycar/ silicon chip designed called the JV60's. These use 2 x Vifa P17 and 1 x Vifa D25AG per speaker. So being a sucker for building speakers I went and built them copying a pair my mate had still pre assembled. I changed a few things however, using 25mm material instead of 16mm, higher quality crossover components with an extra resistor to accept the Vifa XT25BG60 which I already had so I used it. Very happy with the outcome, it has tight fruity bass, nice clean top end and it what I wanted from a pair of speakers. Until the next horn's, but that another story. I will use a wood veneer to finish them off over the next few weeks. So here are all the pics: Not the best quality pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
