Default Single Capacitor or Two in Series?

I have implemented a 1st order electrical filter on a Seas H1189 tweeter in a 3-way system using a combination of 4.7 uF and 5.6 uF capacitors in series, giving a theoretical value of 2.55 uF. I’m pleased with the results sonically, but I have a feeling that a single capacitor would sound better yet. The advantage of the series combination is that I already own the capacitors, and the 4.7 uF value is a Mundorf Supreme leftover from another project that I’d like to make use of. The 5.6 uF is a Dayton 1%. Would I be better off substituting a single 2.7 uF cap for this combination? Thanks in advance.

I would avoid capacitors in series at least in the "final" version.

Or you can put 9V between the two caps (with a 2 or 3Mohms resistor)/
Do a search for "charge coupled" or biased caps, both here and on audioheritage.org
