I am rebuilding a pair of AMW Acoustic Labs model A-440 4-ways.
I'm seeking assistance to identify the model of Peerless supertweeter I found fitted. It may not be original. It is a peerless without any numbers or letters. Black shiny dust cap, with 8ohms painted on the outer face of the cone. Square frame, 57mmx57. Mounting hole PCD is ~64mm. Sealed rear. The front and rear photos are attached. Does anyone recognise it? Thanks Doug |

I think I have correctly identified them as Peerless MT-225's.
Here are some pic of a pair advertised on fleaBay: VINTAGE PEERLESS MT-225 ALNicO TWEETERS SONAB MCINTOSH - eBay Separates, Audio, Vintage Electronics, Consumer Electronics. (end time 26-Mar-10 07:09:14 AEDST) Now for my next question. Does anyone have the data for the MT-225? I'm particularly looking for the freq resp and the polar dispersion graphs. cheers Doug |
