Saw a couple of ancient speaker baffles today on the odds/ends shelf at the local St. Vincent DePaul. When I peeked behind the grille cloth I spied the oddest looking tweeter I'd ever seen (i'm a bit of an innocent in the vintage dept). The baffles were a dollar each so I couldn't very well resist. Took the little drivers out and snapped a couple of pics.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Turns out the tweeter is not exceedingly rare. I found a few other examples of them on the net. But they fascinated me none the less. Especially because of how well preserved they were for fifties vintage. |
