Driver or design suggestions

I need some suggestions.
I have a friend who has a pair of PE .75 cu/ft 2-way boxes with port holes cut and he wants to load them with something.
He has a pair of Vifa DX25TG-05-04 tweeters which he would like to make use of but not carved in stone.
Budget of about $100.00 for woofers.
The first one that came to mind is the Silver Flute 8'' but I think that needs to be sealed or a larger box, I'm not quite sure.

I know this guy quite well. He likes to play fairly loud from time to time and listens to just about all forms of music. He mentioned that he does not like colored sound.(Hmm)
