I have a Pioneer 280 watt A/V Multi channel receiver model VSX-D508 and i wanted to upgrade my speakers (some cheap JVS's). I do some hobby electronics and woodworking so if any one has some speaker, crossover model numbers and wiring, enclosure design that would work well for me it would be great. I was thinking of getting all the parts and building the 3way left and right first then adding the center and last the rear L/R. My budget is flexible but around 300.00 for the speakers, and crossovers. The wood and extra stuff i won't sweat and can pay for over time. Also i have no problem making crossovers if i have part #'s and a schematic.
Thanks |

I think it would be best if you searched from some of the well documented speaker projects and building something from those.
Zaph's designs are a good place to start and highly regarded as some of the best for any budget. Zaph|Audio |
