Apparently there are 4x 12" woofer mounted in these subs. How is that possible since the front plane does not look so wide?

I thought about that, but SL argues against such arrangement:
Electro-acoustic models Basically I want to increase the bass output of my dipole woofers by adding 4 more drivers.

I don't think the bass enclosures look particularly small.
