Hi,
I am looking for either a 10" or two 8" to be mated with the TangBand 75 dome. The woofers should have <1% THD at 40Hz and be useable for a xover point at about 600-650Hz. Having checked Zaph, Mark K and some other resources, I am still undecided. The Daytons are good in the low midrange but lack performance in the bass department. The Seas W26/L26 seems to be good in the bass department, but I can't decide, whether x-ing over at 600Hz would be OK. Somehow two W22 appear to be tempting, but I can't find good data on their distortion profile. I haven't looked into the Scanspeaks in more detail yet. ATC would also be a candidate, but no data. I appreciate your thoughts. Regards, Leif |
