Sorry, but 1st post is a question.
I have a few drivers sitting around and I have found the perameters for the 2008 drivers, but I can't get any information from anyone regarding the 6.5" drivers that I believe are 1666, but may be 2040. Can anyone help. I am trying to make use of these drivers in a small enclosure. Thank you |

If you have a Mac, you can measure the T/S parameters yourself with FuzzMeasure and the cheap/simple impedance jig described in FuzzMeasure's manual.
It's always better to take your own measurements rather than trusting others'. Even the manufacturer's. |

Hi David,
Here are my personal T/S parameters recently measured with Woofertester2 V5. #1. Tannoy Definition D100 (driver 1666 SN: 468384L) Re = 4.4522 ohms Zmax = 33.2435 ohms Qes = 0.4163 Qms = 2.6921 Qts = 0.3605 Eff = 0.0055 Eff = 89.4378dB @1W Sens = 91.9830dB @2.83V Le = 0.3713 mH @1 kHz Fs = 51.543 Hz Sd = 0.014103 m² Vas = 17.862 L BL = 7.227 N/A Mms = 0.015 g Cms = 632.215 uM/N Kms = 1581.739 N/M Rms =1.814 ohms . #2. Tannoy Definition D100 (driver 1666 SN: 468387L) Re = 4.2784 ohms Zmax = 31.0194 ohms Qes = 0.4222 Qms = 2.6392 Qts = 0.3640 Eff = 0.0057 Eff = 89.5801dB @1W Sens = 92.2982dB @2.83V Le = 0.3754 mH @1 kHz Fs = 54.045 Hz Sd = 0.014103 m^2 Vas = 16.239 L BL = 7.205 N/A Mms = 0.015 g Cms = 574.788 uM/N Kms = 1739.771 N/M Rms = 1.941 ohms The D100 is a small cabinet about 10,7 L. Port dimensions : diameter = 31 mm length = 67 mm. Hope it will help. Bernard |
