Hey Folks,
I am about to build a set of the Small Thor's and was wondering if I am going to get horrible sound out of them with just a Marantz SR6004/7002/8002 Receiver? I would like to stay under $2,000 on whatever is driving them.. If this simply isn't possible then I may have to change my plans. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ben |

Assuming your using the crossover in the link provided, they are a fairly benign load. Your receiver should work fine. In fact, I am running mine with a Denon receiver and they sound as good as with Rotel separates.
